Afro Rainbow Austria is a platform for LGBTI+ Africans to get visible and draw strength from one another. ARA is about sharing the stories of those who struggle with coming to terms with their sexuality and identity amidst a hostile society. ARA is about creating a safe space for us in Austria, building our community and fighting not just the oppressive asylum laws, but also the prejudice, racism and homophobia that exists in Austria.
