Kate Rich

Kate Rich is a Bristol based artist who for ten years has been running Feral Trade (feraltrade.org) a global trading network working with people’s incidental carrying power. Previous to setting up feraltrade.org Kate co-founded of the Bureau of Inverse Technology (BIT) as an artist-engineer with Natalie Jeremijenko. Her collaborative projects include Cube Cola, an open source cola laboratory, in collaboration with Bristol-basedartist Kayle Brandon. Her work as part of the BIT was included in the 1997 Whitney Biennial. In 2007, she won the netarts.org grand prize from the Machida City Museum of Graphic Arts,Macinda, Japan.
