Jan Chmielewski und Szymon Syrkus
Jan Chmielewski (1895—1974) and Szymon Syrkus (1893—1964) were architects and urban planners in Warsaw. Syrkus was a Polish CIAM representative. Both were imprisoned in concentration camps during the Nazi occupation. After World War II they worked i.a. in the Office for the Reconstruction of the Capital (Biuro Odbudowy Stolicy, BOS).
