Elizabeth Lloyd Fladung

Elizabeth Lloyd Fladung is a New York based documentary photographer. She started photographing American motel inhabitants in 1993 and continues to work on the project. She was originally drawn to the juxtaposition of these flamboyant icons of American road culture now filled with a hidden population of essentially homeless Americans struggling to get by.
