Jaroslav Andel

Jaroslav Andel is the artistic director of DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague. He has organized numerous exhibitions on modern and contemporary art, including Douglas Gordon: Blood, Sweat, Tears (2009) and Welcome to Capitalism! (2008). Among the books he has authored are Avant-Garde Page Design 1900–1950 (New York 2002); The New Vision for the New Architecture (Zurich 2006); and Cinema All the Time: An Anthology of Czech Film Theory and Criticism 1908–1939 (Prague 2008).
