Kerstin Niemann After a sound training in real estate management Kerstin Niemann (M.A.) studied Applied Cultural Sciences at Leuphana University in Lüneburg. She is research assistance in the department of Metropolitan Culture at HafenCity University Hamburg pursuing her PHD on Detroit. Interested in the influence of real estate and artisitc intervention on urban transformations she started a research residency called FILTER Detroit in 2010 (www.filter-hamburg.de)
